Gilberto Maggiolo – Director
Gilberto Maggiolo is an experienced business leader with a career spanning civil engineering, mining construction, transport, and commercial property development. Migrating from Italy at 19, he began as a boilermaker at Mount Isa Mines before co-founding a steel fabrication company with Tony Bosso in 1970, which became Epoca Constructions. Under his leadership, the business grew to handle increasingly complex projects, expanded to Mackay to support Central Queensland’s coal industry, and later established a significant building development arm in Brisbane.

Tony Bosso – Director
Tony Bosso has extensive experience across civil engineering, project management, construction, transport, and commercial property development. Migrating to Australia in 1958, Tony worked with Humes Ltd before relocating to Mount Isa, where he met Gilberto Maggiolo. Together, they built a successful partnership, establishing a skill base for complex projects. Tony continues to oversee operations in Mount Isa, maintaining strong control over the region’s business activities.

Gerard Williams – General Manager
Gerard Williams brings over 22 years’ experience in the protective coatings industry to his role at QCC. With extensive experience across estimating, contract management, financial reporting, project management, and administration, Gerard leverages QCC’s 30-year history to drive growth and success across industrial services, protective coatings, and business diversification.

Andrew Kerr – Contracts Manager
Andrew Kerr has over 30 years’ experience in the protective coatings industry, including 23 years at QCC. As Contracts Manager, he oversees all operational functions including labour, EHS, HR, quality assurance / control, estimating, project management, and reporting. Andrew has managed projects across Australia and Indonesia and has trained numerous operatives who continue in the industry today.
